The City of Henderson entered into an agreement for curbside recycling with Progressive Waste to begin January 1, 2016. In order to accommodate the new curbside recycling, changes were required to the regular trash pick-up schedule. Under the new schedule, while there will still be two pick-ups per week, one will be for regular trash and one will be for recycling. Regular trash truck will run 4 days per week and the recycling truck will run 3 days.
