The 29th Annual Heritage Syrup Festival, the “Sweetest Festival in Texas”, is centered around old-time sugar cane syrup making. This event is the only folk Life festival in East Texas.
Depot Museum Complex 9 a.m.-4 p.m.:
Featured attractions on the 7 acres include: Syrup making, Folk Artist, Antique Tractors, Bluegrass Music and Story Telling.
Ride one of the many hayride shuttles between the Depot Museum to Historic Downtown for $2 for an all day pass.
Downtown 9 a.m.-5 p.m.:
Shopping Vendors, Antique & Classic Cars, Melodrama, Cloggers, Square dancers, musical entertainment a Children’s Section and much more.
