- The elevator in the Municipal Services Complex has been completed! This major construction project has been going on at the Municipal Services Complex since this past summer and we are glad to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. We are now working with the contractor to add an awning over the back door entry. This project installation should be minor once engineered and the materials are received. The back parking lot is now open along with the back entry that is used for employees.

EMPLOYEE HIGHLIGHTSInternational Firefighter's Day May 4 is International Firefighters’ Day (IFFD) and is a time where our community can recognise and honour the sacrifices firefighters make to ensure their communities and environment are as safe as possible. Law Enforcement Memorial Day On May 15th, Henderson residents gathered near the steps of Rusk County Courthouse to honor all the brave men and women who selflessly serve and protect us every day as law enforcement officers. On this Law Enforcement Memorial Day, we remembered those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty and those who continue to serve and protect us. We thank you for your courage and dedication in keeping our communities and our nation safe.
