- Elevator Construction - This major construction project has been going on at the Municipal Services Complex for months and is finally nearing the end. The original completion date was set to be the end of January but quickly moved to the end of February. Unfortunately, we are now looking at the end of April / beginning of May for completion. The actual elevator car is in place and is awaiting inspection from the state.
- City crews have now completely remodeled the second floor mens and womens restrooms as well as the first floor ladies restroom.
- Water Meter Upgrades and Replacement - The process of the full meter change out has taken longer than originally expected. Most of the delay was in the beginning with meter supply issues. Due to this lengthy process, we are asking Performance Services to do marketing and training again for our water customers and for staff internally as it relates to the new customer portal and other internal software and reporting.
- Municipal Services Complex Roof - The full roof has been replaced on the Municipal Services Complex. The only phase that has yet to be completed and replaced is the skylights. This replacement will start within the next few weeks.
- Water and Wastewater Division - Our water and wastewater division has become a focus of future planning after our Comprehensive Plan. This spurred the conversation on how to fill this deficit and eventually led to the creation of the new position of Director of Utility Infrastructure and Delivery. This position will be under the direction of the City Manager but will work hand in hand with the Utility Director.
