Henderson Fire Department members take pride in making a difference in the lives of others. In addition to protecting life and property during emergencies, we take pleasure in getting to know the people we serve, all the while teaching about fire safety.
For this reason, our department provides a variety of educational programs.
- Fire Extinguisher Training
- Foster and Adoptive Home Inspections
- Residential Inspections
- Open House Activities
- Mandated Inspections (commercial, schools, care facilities)
- Arson Investigations
- Public Education
Whether you are seeking a fire station tour, fire safety presentation, a fire truck or ambulance at your community event, or just want to visit with our firefighters, we strive to provide the best, age-appropriate information and instruction.
Please contact our Central Fire Station at (903)392-0651 to schedule the right program for your specific needs. We greatly appreciate at least two weeks notice, when possible.
