33. Article 4.14 Garage Sales

    A PERMIT MUST BE OBTAINED FROM THE CITY PRIOR TO POSTING A SIGN OR STARTING A GARAGE SALE. GARAGE SALE SIGNS ARE LIMITED TO OUTSIDE OF THE RIGHT‐OF‐ WAY; SIX SQUARE FEET MAXIMUM IN SIZE. GARAGE SALE SIGNS MUST BE LOCATED ON PRIVATE PROPERTY WITH THE PERMISSION OF PROPERTY OWNER OR PERSON IN CHARGE OR LEGAL CONTROL OF PROPERTY. GARAGE SALE SIGNS IN THE RIGHT‐OF‐WAY (INCLUDING ON UTILITY POLES AND STREET SIGNS) ARE SUBJECT TO IMMEDIATE REMOVAL. GARAGE SALE SIGNS MAY BE ERECTED NO MORE THAN FORTY‐ EIGHT (48) HOURS PRIOR TO THE GARAGE SALE AND MUST BE REMOVED PRIOR TO TWENTY‐FOUR (24) HOURS AFTER THE GARAGE SALE.
