Community

Building a great rapport and relationship with the community in Henderson is a key mission for the Henderson Police Department. Through the involvement of many programs, events, education and social media, the police department is able to consistently work on maintaining that rapport, trust and security with the community being policed.

From educational tours to the Citizens Police Academy, involvement in the community is a huge focus that expands beyond events and traditional modes of communication. Social media has assisted in the relationship building process, but the department is continuously looking at ways to engage, improve and expand community outreach.
