'Freedom Festival'

BEGINNER'S GUIDE

Freedom Festival vets have these tips and tricks committed to memory, but for the newbies here's a few helpful hints!

🔴 USE THE SHUTTLE: It's FREE. Avoid long walks and dangerous highway crossings! The loading area is clearly marked at Henderson High School and round-trip service unloads at Lake Forest Park. Transportation assistance will be provided for Persons with Disabilities and their mobility aids such as scooters. *Shuttles depart every 15 minutes.*

🔵 MAKE YOURSELF COMFORTABLE: Find a cozy little spot and set-up camp, while being courteous to others and mindful of walking areas. Bring camp chairs, a picnic blanket, coolers with non-alcoholic beverages and soft toys like Nerf balls and bubbles.

🔴 STAY HYDRATED: A Cooling Station with courtesy bottled water is provided onsite. Drink plenty of H2O and stick to the shade. If you feel unwell, report to this Cooling Station immediately for assistance.

🔵 KEEP HENDERSON BEAUTIFUL: Our Parks and Rec guys and gal have been working extra hard to make Lake Forest Park look spectacular! Please help them out by placing trash inside the garbage receptacles located throughout the park.

🔴 PET SAFETY: Freedom Festival is centered around fireworks and live music, both which may be upsetting to sensitive pets. If your pet would be startled, or disoriented by these displays, the kindest thing for their little hearts is to leave them at home. Otherwise, please keep pets leashed and avoid allowing potty breaks near public walkways and green areas where Festival-goers are gathered.

Henderson Police Department and Henderson Fire Department will be onsite all evening. Feel free to ask them for directions to restroom facilities and shuttle loading zones. We hope you have an incredible time with your friends and family at Freedom Festival!
